Grand Opening in Northlake TX: Free Beer With Any $10 Purchase, Sep 4–6
G.O.A.T's Arena Northlake has been open on Robson Ranch Rd for a few months now, and this Friday we make it official. Our Grand Opening weekend runs Friday, September 4 through Sunday, September 6, and it kicks off at 5 PM Friday. The deal is simple: spend $10 on anything, get a free 16 oz beer. That is every day of the weekend, not just opening night. It also happens to be Labor Day weekend and the first full Saturday of college football, so the timing worked out well for anyone who wants a long weekend on a big screen.
Grand Opening at a Glance
- When: Friday, September 4 at 5 PM through Sunday, September 6.
- Where: G.O.A.T's Arena Northlake, 1633 Robson Ranch Rd, Northlake, TX 76226.
- The offer: one free 16 oz beer with any $10 purchase.
- The fine print: launch weekend only, must be 21+ with valid ID, dine-in.
- What's on: Labor Day weekend college football on the 204-inch screen and the patio TVs.
How the Free Beer Works
There is no wristband, code, or app to download. Order anything on the menu that adds up to $10 or more, show your ID to your server, and pick a beer from the tap wall. It is one 16 oz pour per $10 purchase, dine-in only, and it runs the whole weekend from 5 PM Friday until we close Sunday night. If you are coming with a group, each person who hits the $10 mark gets their own beer, so a table of six ordering appetizers and entrees covers everyone.
Two things people asked about during the soft-opening months that are worth answering up front. First, yes, the patio counts as dine-in, and it is covered and shaded with its own TVs, so it is a real option in early September heat. Second, the offer is 21 and up with a valid ID, no exceptions. Bring your license even if you have not been carded in a decade. The staff will ask.
Tip: Friday at 5 PM is going to be the busiest hour of the weekend. If you want a table in front of the big screen, come Saturday early afternoon or Sunday. The offer is the same all three days.
What to Order to Unlock Your Beer
Ten dollars is an easy bar to clear, but if you want a recommendation, here is what the Northlake kitchen has been sending out the most since we opened. These are the plates that regulars keep re-ordering, and they are the ones I would point a first-time visitor toward.
Lamb Lollipops
Our most talked-about plate. Grilled and pan-seared lamb chops served with mashed potatoes, carrots, and asparagus. It is a full dinner, not a bar snack, and it pairs well with a darker beer from the tap wall. These tend to sell out on busy nights, so if you have your heart set on them, order early.
Cheezy Bullets
Fried cheese curds with marinara. This is the plate that hits the table first for most groups because it is easy to share and easy to keep ordering. Two baskets and a couple of beers is a very reasonable way to spend a Saturday afternoon of football.
Dirty Nachos
Chips piled with lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, jalapenos, onions, sour cream, and spicy mayo, with your choice of protein on top. Groups with different tastes like this one because everyone can add what they want. It clears the $10 mark on its own.
The Muscular Wagyu
A seared Wagyu patty with lettuce, cheese, crispy bacon, and seared bell peppers. If you are a burger person, this is the one to try first, and it is the burger the kitchen is proudest of.
What's on the Screens This Weekend
The Grand Opening lands on the first big Saturday of the college football season, and our 204-inch screen was built for exactly that. We run the biggest game of the window on the main screen and spread the rest across the wall TVs and the patio, so you will not have to pick just one. Sunday is a lighter sports day, which makes it the best day for families and anyone who wants the beer without the crowd.
If there is a specific game you want on a specific TV, ask your server when you sit down. We can usually accommodate a request as long as it is not during the busiest hour on Friday night.
Getting Here and Parking
We are at 1633 Robson Ranch Rd in Northlake, a few minutes off I-35W, with parking out front. Argyle, Justin, Roanoke, and the north side of Fort Worth are all a short drive. Doors open at noon every day, and we stay open until midnight Friday and Saturday and 11 PM on Sunday.
One request: if you plan to take full advantage of the offer, plan your ride home. Rideshare pickups are easy at the front entrance.

Why We Waited to Celebrate
We opened the doors in Northlake quietly on purpose. A new kitchen and a new bar crew need real shifts under real crowds before they are ready for a launch weekend, and we wanted the patio finished first. Now the crew has had a few months to find its rhythm, the patio has TVs and heaters, and the menu has settled into the plates people actually order. This weekend is our way of saying thank you to the neighbors who found us early and an invitation to everyone else. Come by, spend $10, and let us pour you a beer.
