Best Happy Hour in Allen, TX — All-Day GOAT Hours at Fairview

Food & Drink4 min read

Most Allen happy hours play by the same rules: a discounted well drink and a half-priced appetizer between 4 and 6 PM on weekdays. If you walk in at 6:01, you pay full price. If your shift ends at 5:30, you barely get a drink in. We took that model and threw it out. G.O.A.T's Arena Fairview — about ten minutes east of central Allen — runs GOAT Hours, an all-day specials concept with a different themed night every day of the week. This is the case for skipping the Allen happy-hour shuffle and pointing your car at Fairview Town Center instead.

What "All-Day" Actually Means

When we say all-day, we mean the kitchen opens, the specials start, and they don't end until close. No power hour. No window. Whether you show up for an early lunch on your day off, a late-afternoon meeting, or a pre-dinner stop on your way home, the night's theme and its pricing are in effect.

That structure matters in Allen specifically. The commute home from Plano, Frisco, or further south rarely cooperates with a 4–6 PM window. A 6:15 arrival shouldn't cost you the deal.

A Different Theme Every Day at Fairview

Monday — Weekly Kickoff

Discounted drafts, appetizer deals, and a quiet enough room to actually hear your friends. Mondays after a long workday — this is the easy reset.

Tuesday — Spec-Taco-Lar

Tacos and margaritas. Birria, street-style, or our chef's rotating special. Allen's Tex-Mex options are good — Tuesday at G.O.A.T's holds its own against any of them, and you get a 220-inch screen with the side.

Wednesday — Wild Wing Wednesday

Ten wings for $10. All twelve sauces in play. If you want wings and drink specials on the same ticket, Wednesday is the move.

Thursday — Ladies Night

Special pricing on select cocktails, wine, and frozen drinks. The energy picks up as the night goes on — perfect for a girls-night-out from the Allen / Fairview / McKinney triangle.

Friday — Greatest of All Days

Premium drink deals, elevated food specials, and a DJ running live sets. The weekend starts here. If you only get out one night a week, this is the night.

Honest Comparison vs Allen Happy-Hour Spots

  • The Brass Tap (Allen): great beer list, traditional happy hour window. Wins on craft-beer depth.
  • BoomerJack's (Fairview): chain-style happy hour with consistent pricing. Wins on familiarity.
  • G.O.A.T's Arena Fairview: all-day pricing, themed nights, the area's biggest screen. Wins when you want the deal AND game-day atmosphere AND food specials together.

Different rooms for different moods. If you want a quiet pint after work, Brass Tap is a fair pick. If you want a deal that doesn't end at 6 plus a room with energy, drive to Fairview.

The Drink List Worth Showing Up For

  • 100+ beers on tap — domestics, locals, imports, and a rotating craft lineup
  • Full craft cocktail program — house margaritas, whiskey flights, frozen drinks
  • Wine list that punches above the average sports-bar level
  • Premium tequila and bourbon selection at the full bar
  • Weekend brunch mimosa specials Saturday and Sunday

Getting Here from Allen

We're at 235 Town Pl in Fairview Town Center — Whole Foods on one side, iPIC Theaters across the way. From central Allen take Stacy Road east, or US-75 north to the Stacy exit; it's about 8–12 minutes depending on the traffic light gods. Free parking, walk-in friendly, reservations available for groups.

Pro tip: Tuesdays and Wednesdays are quieter than Thursdays and Fridays — same all-day specials, easier seating. Stop in mid-week if you want the deal without the crowd.
